Lost in the fields I walked away trying to hide in the flowers hoping no one would see me. Hiding my face afraid to face the truth. I was finally alone and it terrified me. The sun was shining on me trying to reveal everything that I had tried to bury. I looked around uncertain of the reality of the world around me and tried to retreat from the sun's rays of light. I wasn't yet ready to embrace them or my truth.

OMG!!! YES, IT IS I!! I guess I just felt left out in this whole blogging thing. So here I go. Have you ever had one song stuck in your head? And it doesn't matter how many times you hear it you just cant get it out of your head. Well, it happens to me a lot. And right now the song is "marry You" by Bruno Mars. God it's so catchy......./me breaks out in song "It's a beautiful night we're looking for something dumb to do....hey baby I think I wanna marry you! It's on auto replay in my head. And because of this, I felt why not take a few photos.......but I needed a partner. So in steps my lovely, awesome, handsome, and oh so fluffy "friend" Rio. And this is how it turned out!

New Year, New You

You know how everyone makes New Year's resolutions but they hardly ever keep them? Well, I thought about de-cluttering in SL and RL. I toyed with the idea of deleting whole folders of things then came to my senses. I would go nuts not having some things. I have slowly come to the realization that I am an SL hoarder. I have had my inventory to well over 40K of items because I just didn't want to throw things away. Well, all that is gonna change. I have already thrown away a few thousand items, you would be surprised how many landmarks you can have in your inventory from the items you buy. I know I don't think to delete them before I start organizing things and so they got stuck in inventory folders sorted into skins, hair, body parts, accessories, clothing, and other random things I have in my inventory. I deleted almost 3K in landmarks alone, shocking I know.

In the spirit of de-cluttering, I started to clear out my inventory of things I no longer wear anymore, but when I got a message from Glitterati for their newest release, The Rack, I had to have it. It is for sale in-store but is also available in the new Glitterati VIP group. Then there is the group gift from Fishy Strawberry , Soignee lingerie in red, which is just gorgeous.

I have been so busy that I haven't had much time to blog anything. I feel like a blog failure. As many of you know Armidi had a sale at The Warehouse to close out everything they have. Sad to see so many places I remember frequenting during my time in SL.  What can you do real things come and go and times change so here's to the future and trying to make every day worthwhile.

It's been a long day

It's been a long day and all I want is something comfortable to wear and a quiet place to explore and rest. I found a beautiful sim that allowed me to do just that.  I am not one for dresses in RL but I love wearing them in SL. I thought this dress from *MIU* was cute and paired it with a cute shrug from [MG fashion] and a pair of flats from (Shiny Things).  I can not deny that I am in love with Truth's hair. It doesn't matter what style really I just love them all and I just had to have the new Aradhana hair. The headwrap is done perfectly and something I would wear in RL.
I am falling asleep writing this so it proves that I do need sleep and should get going. Till next time, hopefully, it won't be as much of a stretch of time till the next post.

Sumertime and the livin is easy ...

It's been a while since I posted anything, mainly because RL has kept me very busy. I logged in the other day and tossed together a new outfit from some things I recently bought as well as some items I've had in my inventory a while. I figured it was time to get me out of the pixel clothing I have been in for about a month and give myself a fresh new look for the summer (not that I will stay in the outfit all summer, that's kinda eww even for SL).

As we all know it's summertime so that means lots of colors and lots of bathing suits. I fell into my layered look that could go for heading to the beach or heading home from the beach, mind you I do not really care for the beach much but in SL it's a must. I love capris more than I could even love shorts and when I found the Graecyn Capri Jeans capris from WoE it was love at first sight. I love the sculpted rolls at the bottom and the embroidery detail on them. They are just sooooo me. I paired them with the Zaara Esha bikini top in blueberry cream layered under one of my favorite sheer tank tops ever, Winona Embroidered Sheer Tank in paraiba from Last Call (oh how I miss you).
As many of us have learned you can never have enough Truth hair and I have found myself buying more styles with every new release. While browsing after grabbing some demos for new releases I came across the Gabby hair and loved it. It's very much me, even in RL. I grabbed a demo, because I am so fussy with hair fit, and thought it was perfect so I had to have it.
Now, this goes without saying but nothing says summer more than sandals. I have a love affair with sandals in RL. I would wear them year-round if it weren't for that infernal weather condition called SNOW (shudder at the thought). Yes, it's beautiful but I could so do without it. Seriously I think sandals are like my only comfortable footwear as it is as close to barefoot as I possibly can be. If it were socially acceptable and I didn't have to worry about broken glass and stuff I would so go barefoot in RL all the time (even though I have stepped on a bee and been stung on the bottom of my foot).

Geek much

I am a N3RD and freaking proud of it. If that makes me uncool or whatever I don't really care much. 

I was in love this weekend with the Thermeory items set out for the geeky theme. 

I had to have the Teachers Pet dress from *League* because well let's face it *League*   is like whoa. 

I mean how can you not fall in love with everything they come out with.

NO More Bullies

I want to support all my friends and others that have been affected by bullying by joining in today's event with wearing a pink shirt today.
Bullying is not something to be taken lightly and even if we don't admit it everyone has been bullied at some point in their life. Just because this happens does not mean it is ok. I am so thankful that people, places, schools, and organizations are taking a stand against this growing epidemic - yeah it is an epidemic. With the Internet begin so easily accessible from everywhere including tons of mobile devices bullying has taken a rapid increase. It is far to easy for a group of bullies to get together and make a video of their 'bullying conquests' and post it on youtube or other similar sites, I've even seen them popping up on facebook and myspace.
I thank everyone who took a stand today and wore something pink in support of ending bullying.
